Kutty Phonics collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. A child's progress stays on the phone or tablet it was made on, and we never receive it.
Who we are
Kutty Phonics is an English phonics app for children, made by Pizazoo. This policy covers the app on the App Store and Google Play. Questions: support@pizazoo.com.
What we collect
Nothing. Kutty Phonics does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal information.
- There are no accounts and no sign-in.
- There are no ads and no advertising identifiers.
- There is no analytics, crash reporting or tracking, and no third-party code that collects data.
- The app does not use the microphone, the camera, contacts or location.
- The app works fully offline. It only goes online to ask the App Store or Google Play whether Premium was bought.
What stays on the device
To remember each child's progress, the app saves these on the device only: the learner's name or nickname (a nickname is enough), the chosen animal, stars, stickers, coins, dress-up items, the days played this week and the settings. None of it leaves the device. Removing a learner in the app, or deleting the app, erases it.
Coins are earned only by playing. They cannot be bought, and nothing in the dress-up shop costs real money.
Purchases
Kutty Phonics Premium is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time purchase. Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) handles the payment and confirms it with Face ID, a fingerprint or the account password; we never see names, payment details or addresses. The app only receives the store's confirmation that Premium is active, and keeps it on the device so the app also works offline.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel them at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and restore a purchase on a new device with Restore purchases in the app.
Children
Kutty Phonics is made for young children and the parents and teachers who help them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. Settings, teacher tools and every link that leaves the app sit behind a parental gate that asks a grown-up question. There are no links for children to follow to websites or social media.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. We will not start collecting any data without updating this policy first.
