The grown-up question
Settings, the Teacher Corner and links out of the app first ask a multiplication question (for example 7 × 4), so children don't wander in by accident. Type the answer on the number pad.
Premium
The first two worlds, Today's challenge, Letters & Sounds and all the rewards are free. Premium unlocks worlds 3 to 8, the Houseboat Journey, festival games and Class Battle. Tap any lock, or Premium in Settings, to see the plans.
Restore a purchase
On a new or reset device, open the Premium page (or Settings) and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account that bought Premium.
Cancel a subscription
- iPhone or iPad: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Kutty Phonics, Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Kutty Phonics, Cancel.
Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Learners, teachers and language
- Add or remove a child: Settings, Learners. Each child has their own stars, coins and stickers.
- Choose the teacher: Settings, Teacher voice. Naina Teacher explains in Malayalam, Arun Sir in English.
- App language: Settings, App language (Malayalam or English).
Progress
Progress is saved only on the device, because the app has no accounts and collects no data. Deleting the app deletes the progress, and it does not move to a new phone. Premium can always be restored.
Teachers and classrooms
Open the Teacher Corner on the home screen for flashcards, any lesson in one tap, and Class Battle. To show it on a TV or projector, use Screen Mirroring (AirPlay) on iPhone and iPad, or Cast or Smart View on Android. More in Kutty Phonics in the classroom.
